In the "let's have more fun" category, Funkadelic Food Shack is your destination at the beach for creative scratch made food, full bar, live music, game nights and more! The husband-and-wife team (Jerry and Amanda Asker) famous for one of St. Augustine's favorite food trucks now has a brick-and-mortar home at Ocean Grove RV Resort in the heart of the St. Augustine beaches. Located at the front of the resort, the cheerful poolside pavillion offers indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, killer food for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Lunch and dinner menus features bowls such as the favorite Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, Fish and Shrimp Dinner with blackened or fried fresh catch and wild caught shrimp with Funk Sauce and 2 sides. Select from hearty smash burgers, tacos, sliders and wraps and a selection of starters to share (or not!): such as Chef Miguel's Smoked Fish Dip, loaded tots and fried pickles. Housemade desserts include Peanut Butter Pie and the Florida Native Pie (graham cracker crust, yellow cake brushed with strawberry puree, orange zest vanilla mouse and white chocolate curls). Saturday and Sunday Brunch, served from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. features out-of-the-box crave-worthy selections such as Leggo my Eggo Burger, Disco Biscuit and Holy Funkin' Grit Bowl. The pool is open every Saturday and Sunday too and a $40 credit purchase covers 1 adult and 1 child for pool access all day (spend it on any Funkadelic food or drinks)! Play along with your friends and family (and other fun people like you!) for Bingo on Tuesday starting at 6 p.m.; Moonlight Movies on Wednesday starting at 6 p.m. and Trivia on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Enjoy live music every Friday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Open Tuesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Closed Monday.
