Newly opened in Fall of 2023, Pesca Rooftop is one of two new ventures by Chef Michael Lugo, well known in the area as the chef and owner of Michael’s, an upscale downtown St. Augustine restaurant focused on steaks and coastal Spanish-inspired cuisine. Located within The Hyatt Place hotel in Vilano Beach Town Center, Pesca offers a lively and luxurious restaurant within the hotel as well as a Rooftop Bar and Grill, offering live music and panoramic coastal views. PESCA's menu combines bold Latin flavors with Florida’s freshest coastal ingredients, and reflects the foundational influences of Chef Lugo's native Puerto Rico. PESCA's vibrant dining room is inspired by Miami’s famous Art Deco architecture and features a glorious "Wine Library", where you can lounge and peruse the many vintages offered. PESCA also offers a private dining room and a Chef’s Table Experience for groups by reservation. The PESCA culinary team, which includes Executive Pastry Chef Rebecca Reed, caters the Hyatt Place's banquet room and event spaces for weddings, events and meetings.
