Serving dinner from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, Chef-Owner Peter Kenney is now offering a tapas-style menu of small plates designed for sharing. Featuring many of his signature menu items from the 20 years he has been in business at his St. Augustine Beach location, the new menu focuses on what this creative chef and his talented team know their customers crave. The newly refurbished space features an elevated ambiance with an elegant wine bar and lounge, local artwork and candlelit mood lighting. Chef Kenney’s menu reflects all of the experiences and influences he had along the way of his culinary journey, with a focus on French, Italian and Latin cuisines. With a passion for sourcing ingredients from locals farmers and producers, favorite menu items include Grilled Lamb Lollipops; Sautéed Shrimp with Garlic, White Wine and Lemon; Lobster Bisque; and luscious Flourless Chocolate Cake. Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten-Free options always available. All wines on his outstanding wine list are available by the glass. And at Purple Olive, the early bird gets the wine! Happy Hour is 4-6 p.m. Wed.-Sat., featuring half price bottles of wine! When Chef Kenney is not working or traveling, he’s likely at St. Augustine beach, surfing with his son Hyde.
